What would I-638 do?
WA State Nurses Association, Planned Parenthood, and League of Women voters say I-638 will put all girls at greater risk of harm.
I-638 is the most extreme MAGA initiative of its kind in the U.S. It requires invasive genital exams on girls to play elementary, middle, and high school sports, all to exclude 5 - 10 trans girls from participating. Boys are exempt from these new, humiliating requirements. Vote NO on I-638.

Heywood is joining anti-LGBTQ+ hate groups as part of the national MAGA agenda to distract voters from real affordability issues facing Americans by focusing attacks on a tiny minority of people.
This initiative would make Washington the most extreme state in the nation when it comes to school sports because it requires all girls to be sex inspected before they can participate in after-school sports.
Seattle Times recommends ‘No’ on I-638
“IL 26-638 would unfairly target a few students to appease those who want to dictate to schools just who is worthy of participating in competitive sports and who isn’t. The Times editorial board recommends voters say “no” to fearmongering and vote “no” on an initiative that would only exclude more student athletes from sports.”
