Repeals Washington’s Millionaires Tax, eliminating over $13 billion in funding for education and healthcare by giving a tax break to the state's richest 1%. Raises costs for Washington families, raises taxes on small businesses, takes away tax rebates and free school meals for kids. Vote NO on IP26-645.

Opposed by WA State PTA, domestic violence experts, teachers, parents, and counselors because it puts child abuse victims at greater risk, forces schools to “out” LGBTQ+ kids, removes parents’ rights to immediate notification of crimes, and will worsen student mental health Vote NO on IL26-001.

Most extreme MAGA initiative of its kind in the U.S. Opposed by WA State Nurses Association, League of Women Voters, WA State PTA, and Planned Parenthood because it requires invasive genital exams on girls to play elementary, middle, and high school sports. Who’s behind these deceptive, dangerous measures?
Brian Heywood, the mega-millionaire bankrolling these three initiatives, wants to institute his MAGA agenda to give tax cuts to the wealthy (including himself), put LGBTQ+ kids in danger, and force invasive sex checks on girls who want to play sports. He already tried to pass his MAGA initiatives in 2024 and failed, and now he’s back again. Vote no on all 3 initiatives.

MAGA mega-millionaire hedge fund manager Brian Heywood, who moved here from California, has spent millions of his own money on paid signature gathering to bend our laws to serve his interests and to distract voters from the real issues. Washington voters have rejected his initiatives time and time again:

While families in Washington are struggling to pay for food, housing, and healthcare, none of his initiatives on our ballots help solve those problems. Heywood is not interested in what’s best for working or middle-class families in Washington state. He has given millions to right-wing causes at the state and national levels, including Trump, and we shouldn’t let him buy himself a tax cut or attack vulnerable kids.
Jim Walsh is the MAGA state Republican Party chair, who repeats the lie that the 2020 election wasn’t legitimate, compared COVID restrictions to slavery and the Holocaust, and mocked the harms to our communities from climate change. Led by MAGA leaders like Walsh, state Republicans have lost legislative seats election after election but now seek to use the initiative process to roll back the achievements enacted by Democratic legislative majorities. He’s even being sued by people in his own party for defamation.
