I-2109
Repeals Washington’s limited capital gains tax, eliminating over $2.2 billion in funding for education, childcare, and early learning by giving a tax break to the state's wealthiest. Vote no on I-2109.
I-2117
A purposely misleading initiative opposed by firefighters, small business owners, doctors, Tribal Nations and more. No to more pollution. No to more traffic congestion. Vote no on I-2117. It’s a bad deal for Washington.
I-2124
Seeks to dismantle WA Cares, Washington's long-term care benefit program, potentially stripping over 3 million workers of over $8.1 billion in guaranteed, earned benefits. Vote no on I-2124.

Who’s behind these deceptive, dangerous measures?
The sponsors of these ballot initiatives intentionally wrote them in misleading ways because they don't want us to know what the initiatives really do. In fact, they are trying to prevent important information about funding cuts from appearing on your ballot so that you don’t know all the facts. But their agenda will harm our families and communities. We can't vote for ballot initiatives that are deceptive and dangerous. We must defend Washington.
Millionaire hedge fun manager Brian Heywood, who moved here from California, spent more than $6 million of his own money on paid signature gathering to bend our laws to serve his interest and reduce his own taxes. Heywood is not interested in what’s best for working or middle-class families in Washington state. He has given millions to right-wing causes at the state and national levels, and we shouldn’t let him buy himself a tax cut or slash funding for the services we rely on.
Jim Walsh is the MAGA state Republican Party chair, who repeats the lie that the 2020 election wasn’t legitimate, compared COVID restrictions to slavery and the Holocaust, and mocked the harms to our communities from climate change. Led by Trump-loyalists like Walsh, state Republicans have lost legislative seats election after election but now seek to use the initiative process to roll back the achievements enacted by Democratic legislative majorities.
